During today's press conference of the Ministry of Digitization, we learned how and from when the mobile ID card and other documents over the phone are to work. The new mDocuments will not be a separate application or a mobile representation of a physical identity document, it will rather be a method of verification using codes that will work on any mobile phone, not only on a smartphone.
